My new single “Asqutu minka waqifa” was released yesterday on international music platforms. The title when translated from Arabic into English means (When falling means rising). The lyrics are actually a poem written by poetess Fatima Mohsin from her first book carrying the same title as the song. It was originally composed and performed in 2007 during the book release event at Abdulrahman Kanoo Centre playing solo oud. Now the same song is re-arranged and recorded in a way that would sound much different than the original performance.
A music video with lyrics and English translation is expected to be released on youtube.

تم صباح الأمس إصدار أغنيتي المنفردة (سينقل) الجديدة “أسقط منك واقفة” على منصات الموسيقى العالمية. الأغنية عبارة عن قصيدة للشاعرة فاطمة محسن من ديوانها الأول الذي حمل نفس عنوان هذه القصيدة. تم تلحين القصيدة وتقديمها لأول مرة بالعزف على العود فقط في حفل تدشين الديوان بمركز عبد الرحمن كانو الثقافي عام 2007م. أما الآن فقد تم عمل توزيع موسيقي جديد وتسجيل الموسيقى بشكل مختلف عن أول أداء حي في 2007م.
من المتوقع إصدار فيديو على يوتيوب للأغنية مع كلماتها والترجمة إلى اللغة الإنجليزية.
